A Heart Full of Love

How tragically neglected this blog has been....new resolution to write at least once a week!!

Happy Valentine's Day folks!! This new year has been a good one thus far. A new semester has begun; I love my new roommate, Kendra; and I have made new, wonderful friends. In addition to a bunch of "new" things happening in my life, I have some "news" to share!

I will be serving a mission for my church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I received my mission call in late December.
I have been called to serve in the German-Swiss-Austrian Alps region:
the Alpine German-speaking Mission.
I depart May 1, 2013 for a period of 18 months.

I could not be more overjoyed!!

I can testify with every fiber of my being that God our Father knows YOU. His Only Begotten Son, our Savior Jesus Christ, atoned for your sins the Garden of Gethsemane. Through His Atonement, you can be made whole. Because of His sacrifice, we will live again. He knows YOU, individually and wholly. He cares about YOU. He loves YOU. You are His child. There is nothing I want more than to proclaim to the world this truth!! My prayer and deepest desire is that every soul can know with fervency what I know.

Questions? Don't speculate. Please learn more at mormon.org.

I am a Mormon. I know it, I live it, and I love it.

Love,

Natalie

P.S. Here I share the opening of my mission call. This was very special to my family; my dad served in the Hamburg (now Berlin) Germany mission, and my mom served in the Frankfurt Germany mission. The German culture and people are very dear to my family. The opportunity to serve in Germany/Austria/Switzerland is truly blessed. I am forever thankful.
